This thesis explores the challenges of photographic archiving in the digital age and proposes a hybrid system that combines the qualities of both analog and digital storage. The project investigates how these two approaches can complement each other rather than compete, using personal photography as a narrative tool for preserving and sharing memories. The research analyzes the evolution of photography, the renewed value of analog practices, and the role of technologies such as metadata and artificial intelligence in organizing digital archives. The final outcome is Polaroid Photo+, a conceptual system designed for Polaroid that connects a physical instant photograph with a digital archive through an app and a projector. By using a printed photo as the key to access related digital content, the system transforms personal archives into a more tangible and shareable experience.
